Let's all pull together!

Ever since 3.0 came out, I've suffered from a common malady that other hunters have as well: our typical "pull shot" macro quit working. Specifically, you got put into auto-attack, and your pet went flying into combat.  This spelled bad news as you could break your own trap.

This solution does not FIX it, but it works around it.

To use it, you have to hit the same key *twice* when pulling. That's all there is to it.

/s *** Pulling %t ***
/petfollow
/cast distracting shot
/stopattack

And here it is annotated.

/s *** Pulling %t *** # Advertises what you are pulling.
# Optional, but useful.

/petfollow # Make your pet follow you.
# This is important on the second
# keypress but has no ill effect on
# the first

/cast distracting shot # The meat of the shot. Gets the
# attention of the mob.

/stopattack # This will be ignored the first
# time through but will stop
# autoattack on the 2nd keypress

Hope this proves helpful to someone!
